Love Hurts

In the dark...gloomy endless nights
my lonesome heart silently pleads to grieve,
for the icy coldness that I everyday receive.
My heart strains at the differences that do us apart...
And utter confusion mars my sight....
The excruciating wounds run so deep into my soul,
That even the sweet memories of the past fail to console.
Each passing day makes me loose grip
And I watch helplessly my life slip...
Painful silence unnerves me all the more
I Wish fervently that you be with me in this uproar.
Placidly I prepare to take my chance,
Maybe one last time try my luck at this game of romance....
I know for sure that the stakes are too high in this play...
But all I have is my Life to lay
